Friends of Folsom Valley Railway (FFVR) is committed to recognizing the unique asset of miniature live steam railroad in our community and promoting this asset for education and family enjoyment.

Mission Statement

Friends of Folsom Valley Railway is a non-profit organization dedicated to:

• Recognizing and preserving Folsom's unique asset of a miniature steam-powered train.                     
• Educating children and grownups alike on mechanics and history of railroading through direct experience with an authentic miniature steam-powered locomotive and cars.                                      
• Enhancing the enjoyment for families of current and future generations in experiencing minature steam-powered trains.

Goals

• Growing the Friends of Folsom Valley Railway from members of the Folsom and Greater Sacramento area community.

• Envisioning with Community and City of Folsom next steps to add new elements to make the train fresh and exciting.

Why Join?

Your voice makes a difference.  Friends of Folsom Valley Railway (FFVR) are active advocates for the future of Folsom's Steam Railway.  As a member you will receive notification of special events and oppourtunities to speak up to the City and Community on behalf of the Railway.

How to Join

Join by sending an email to goldtown1870@hotmail.com and include:

• your name
• email address to receive FFVR mail
• phone number (optional)
• describe how you would like to be involved in FFVR (optional)

Privacy policy                                                                          FFVR will not sell, market or otherwise distribute or volunteer member names, email address, phone numbers or any other personal information to outside parties.

Emails sent by FFVR will address members by bcc: (blind cc) only to maintain confidentiality of email addresses.  By policy no more than 12 emails will be sent per year barring exceptional circumstances.

You can unsubscribe from the email list and terminate your membership in FFVR at any time by sending an email to:

Include the address to which FFVR sends you email if different from the return address.  Otherwise no text is required in the unsubscribe email.
